Bristol vs Northampton

Kickoff: 7:45pm

This game kicks off a weekend of Premiership rugby in which all England players, apart from Henry Slade, are unavailable to their clubs despite the season being cut down to 18 games. As a result, some teams will be without several key players and others will suffer no impacts at all. For Bristol, they are only missing Genge and Randall due to international duty. Northampton will be massively depleted so are underdogs for what would otherwise be an epic clash at Ashton Gate.

Team news:

Bristol

Bristol get a significant boost in midfield with Ravouvou and Janse Van Rensburg both starting. One Grondona replaces another at flanker with Benjamin replacing his brother, Santiago. Genge and Randall are replaced by Woolmore and Marmion.

Northampton

The Saints are badly affected by international call-ups. Fin Smith, George Furbank, Ollie Sleightholme and Tommy Freeman are all unavailable. Makepeace-Cubitt will make his Northampton debut at fly-half. Coles returns and has been made captain in the absence of George Furbank. Northampton will have an exciting back row of Kemeny, Pearson and Pollock.
