Scotland are back to the same level of strength they started the tournament with. Darcy Graham returns following his concerning concussion against Ireland. He was stretchered off after being knocked unconscious and is back into rugby a month after his injury but was back in training much sooner. Scotland's pack looks set to cause chaos once again with plenty of quality to join the game from the bench. Given how this competition has gone so far, Scotland could really do with a convincing win against Wales. One player who will be at the forefront of any success is Fin Russell who hasn't yet played to his usual high standards. Whist they still technically have a chance of winning, this looks like another Six Nations that has gotten away from Scotland but they still have two high pressure games coming up. They need to beat Wales but Gregor Townsend will need a win over France to relieve some of the building pressure on the Scotland head coach.
Matt Sherratt has kept his starting XV who fought valiantly against Ireland. This game will probably be more of a challenge for the Welsh. The Ireland game was at home and had a lot of extra emotion surrounding it. This is the potential come-down game where any faults still remaining within this Wales team, and there are still many, could be massively exposed by a strong opposition full of game-breakers. Wales are a team with plenty of pace so they are well equipped to compete with Scotland. Wales will also be buoyed by having Dewi Lake on the bench.
Prediction
Scotland 32 vs 23 Wales
Wales will put up a fight and create plenty of opportunities but Scotland are simply a superior team.
