The Rugby World Cup draw for the 2027 World Cup took place on the 3rd of December this year. It was done 2 years in advance of the actual tournament but has still been the cause of excitement across the globe. This is the first edition of the tournament to be contested by 24 nations (up from 20) which means that there will be an added knockout round as well as more jeopardy for "Tier 2" nations in the groups.
