Predicting England's team to play Argentina

England levelled their summer record with a huge win over Fiji in Liverpool last weekend. Steve Borthwick kept himself in a job with that victory but a loss to Argentina could yet spell the end of his reign. Here is who I think he'll select to continue England's dominance over their southern rivals.

1.Ellis Genge 2.Jamie George(C) 3.Joe Heyes 4.Alex Coles 5.George Martin

6.Ollie Chessum 7.Ben Earl 8.Henry Pollock 9.Jack van Poortvliet 10.Fin Smith

11.Immanuel Feyi-Waboso 12.Bernhard Janse van Rensburg 13.Henry Slade 14.Tommy Freeman 15.Marcus Smith

Bench

16.Luke Cowan-Dickie 17.Asher Opoku-Fordjour 18.George Kloska 19.Arthur Clark

20.Chandler Cunningham-South 21.Tom Curry 22.Ben Spencer 23.Noah Caluori

I think Borthwick will be largely pleased with his team and the only forced change will be as a result of an injury to Alex Mitchell. The tight five has been great but I think the back row could do with a shake-up. Ollie Chessum should continue at 6 but Henry Pollock and Ben Earl could be the perfect duo to take on Argentina's physical trio. England will need to continue their momentum from their win over Fiji and starting Pollock, who scored a hat-trick, is the perfect way to do so. In the back line I think Bernhard Janse van Rensburg will probably be given a spot in midfield ahead of Seb Atkinson. I hope not but, if you read the reports around his switch to England, it's quite clear that the Bristol centre has been on the radar of Steve Borthwick for a while. The back will likely remain unchanged unless Steward or Furbank were to be available. Starting Marcus Smith also gives England the opportunity to have Caluori on the bench whilst keeping a 6-2 split.
