The 3 biggest stories from PWR round 2

1. Brutal Saracens bounce-back was too much for Harlequins

Round one was an absolute nightmare for last season's beaten finalists as everything collapsed against Gloucester-Hartpury. This week, they had a few stars back and took their frustration out on an underwhelming Harlequins group. Quins have a record of one win and one defeat this season but their defence is already a glaring issue. If they are to make the playoffs once again, they will have to improve massively.

2. The Tigers go from bad to worse

This season was always going to be tricky for Leicester, despite their defiant quotes coming into the year. However, it has already gotten ugly much quicker than many had predicted. A bad defeat to Sale was followed by a 74-0 defeat to the Bears. It was never close and, if we are being honest, it was never going to be. The Tigers are obviously not rolling in cash, but this is a bad look for the league as a whole.

3. Gloucester-Hartpury knock over another competitor

Week 1 saw a sound beating of their closest competition (Saracens) and this week brought a comfortable win over another competitor. A Heard hat-trick headlined what was a devastatingly brutal victory for Hartpury in a game that once again underlined their dominance over the rest of the league.
