Trailfinders vs Leicester Tigers
Kickoff: 1pm, Saturday 13th December
Venue: Trailfinders Sports Ground
Watch on: PWR Youtube
Key to the game: Can Leicester cope with the Trailfinders athletes? The Tigers have shown signs of improvement over the past couple of weeks and will be targetting this game to earn their first point(s) of the season. In order to do that, they'll have to get past a very athletic, albeit rotated, Trailfinders team. There are 4 GB sevens players in their 23-player squad with Boatman and Uren providing the biggest threats due to their blistering pace that is seriously missed by the British sevens team at the moment. If Leicester can't match up physically, the second half could get ugly when the Londoners unleash their bench.
Predicted winner: Trailfinders

Exeter Chiefs vs Saracens
Kickoff: 3:05pm, Saturday 13th December
Venue: Sandy Park
Watch on: Youtube
Key to the game: The battle up front. It's the same theme as usual for the Cheifs with their pack being the team's big strength. However, Saracens' pack is just as formidable and has a star-studded back-line alongside it. That further increases the importance of a big performance from Exeter's pack in a game that could go either way.
Predicted winner: Saracens

Harlequins vs Sale Sharks
Kickoff: 5:30pm, Saturday 13th December
Venue: The Twickenham Stoop
Watch on: BBC iPlayer
Key to the game: Can Aitchison keep Kildunne at bay? Ellie Kildunne has just been names on the shortlist for the 2025 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award, and deservedly so. Holly Aitchison, her England teammate, will have to use her full array of kicking skills to put Kildunne under pressure and prevent her from finding space with ball-in-hand. If Aitchison fails, Kildunne and Pena could rip the Sharks apart.
Predicted winner: Harlequins

Bristol Bears vs Loughborough Lightning
Kickoff: 3pm, Sunday 14th December
Venue: Shaftesbury Park
Watch on: TNT Sports
Key to the game: Can Demant make her mark? The much-lauded arrival of Black Fern Ruahei Demant to the West Country gave hope to Bears fans that the fortunes of the team would change. So far, that is yet to happen and the Bears lost 41-10 to Exeter last week. However she will only improve with time, and can transform this still talented group in a short space of time.
Predicted winner: Loughborough Lightning
